THE GOSPEL, WORKS, PREACHING & TEACHINGS OF PROPHET REV. JOHN OBIRI.

WELCOME TO PROPHET JOHN'S MINISTRIES!
It was in 1992 when Prophet Rev. Obiri Yeboah first came to Uganda. He came with the gospel of Jesus Christ. He is the founder of Redeemed churches in Uganda. Before He came, we only had three public religions and though there were some born again christians during time they could not come out openly as it is today. Prophet John Preached the gospel being guided by the Holy spirit so many miracles were seen happening and many people got healed. He raised the dead to life and destroyed witchcraft and sorcery which were prominent in Uganda. He even destroyed the famous witch doctor by that time who was known as Kiganira. Kiganira came where the man of God was preaching and healing people in the name of Jesus and he told the man of God that I have given you seven days to die. The man of God responded back by giving Him three days. Kiganira as it was his custom, he went to collect his witchcraft and as he was sailing on lake Victoria a red cross came from heaven and hit his head from there and then he was not seen any more.
Prophet John prayed for the revival of the gospel. He met president Amin in 1972 on the Invitation of the president. The president wanted to be prayed for that he may rule forever and Prophet told him that if you stop percecuting, killing and torturing people, you will rule forever but if you continue killing people your leadership will come to an end. He left the president's home and as he was getting out the Intelligence officers came looking for him but they could not recognise him as He was protected by the blood of Jesus Christ. He went to Entebbe Airport where he cursed Uganda for 16 years and these years ended in 1986 when Uganda received peace and stability through President Yoweeri Museveni in 1986. Prophet John came back and prayed for the nation, He also prayed for President Yoweeri Museveni to rule in Peace and Justice and also prayed for him to receive wisdom.
In 1986 He visited many churches and preached the gospel of Jesus Christ which attracted many people. He healed many and prayed for many. He prayed for 7 men and 7 women to carry out the work of God and also prayed for a baby who was being looked after by a grandmother. He told them to preach the word of God and be sure that their garments are white and clean in otherwards the soul. He told them to read the bible carefully and if they do the work properly it will be a blessing but if they fail, it will be a curse.
Remember Prophet John was a prophet. He went to Ghana and came back to Uganda in 1987 and continued praying for gospel and prayed that Power should be in the churches. He rested on 10-July-1987 and was taken back to Ghana.
Among the Pastors who witnessed His working, preaching and teaching include: Pastor Kayiwa, Bishop Grivas Musisi, Pastor Robert Kayanja, Pastor Serwadda, late Balabyekubo, Pastor Morris Bukenya Prophetess Lois Nana.
Despite the fact that they had the preaching and teaching and saw miracles being performed in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, many have turned against His gospel and turned against Him. I thank Prophetess Lois Nana who has stood up in faith, remembering Prophet John and His ministry and also serving the Lord Jesus Christ generously. Prophetess Lois doesn't hate anybody, She loves all the christians and people. She preaches the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and heals in the name of the Lord. She is directed by the Holy Spirit and Her Ministry is based on this scripture: Luke 4:18.
Prophetess Lois Nana is the leader of Prophet John Foundation Church in Kampala.

Container Gardening
To grow healthy container plants, you need to do a little research about your plants. For example, how far apart should they be? How tall will they grow? This is particularly important if you are planting a window box with a variety of plants. For example, if sunflowers need constant sun, don’t plant them with a flower that cannot endure full sun. In container gardening, you also need to ensure that plants have effective drainage and good soil. Place small rocks at the bottom of your containers so water will drain, and dampen potting soil before placing it in the pot.

Featured Flower: A Rose By Any Other Name . . .
Roses were brought to the United States by a French man in the 1800s. Since then, they’ve become ever-popular, so much so that they are New York’s official state flower. Roses carry romance with them, yet they are surprisingly sturdy and easy to grow. Roses come in many varieties, including climbing roses, tea roses, rose hedges, and so on. Roses also have meanings associated with their color. For example, pink roses mean grace, yellow means joy and friendship, coral equals desire, white are associated with purity, and red, of course, means romantic love.

Drying Flowers
For best results, flowers should be dried before fully open. When drying flowers, hang them upside down in low-light (light will fade your flowers) but in a setting containing good ventilation. After they are completely dry, spray them with hair spray so they’ll keep their position.

Caring for Cut Flowers
Cut flowers from your garden in the morning for best results. Before arranging them in a vase, recut them at an angle under running water. Place them in a vase of lukewarm water, preferably with a packet of floral preservatives. You can also put 7-Up in the water, which acts as a plant food. Keep cut flowers out of direct sunlight and away from fruit.
